Classic Editor (Klasikinis redaktorius)

Klasikinis redaktorius yra oficialus įskiepis palaikomas WordPress komandos. Jis įjungia ankstesnį (klasikinį) WordPress turinio redaktorių bei įrašo/puslapio kūrimo ekraną. Naudojant šį įskiepį, galima naudoti visus senesnius įskiepius, kurie kaip nors įtakoja minėtą senojo vaizdo puslapį ar redaktorių.
Šis įskiepis paslepia visas naujojo Blokų redaktoriaus („Gutenberg“) funkcijas.

At a glance, this plugin adds the following:

  • Administrators can select the default editor for all users.
  • Administrators can allow users to change their default editor.
  • When allowed, the users can choose which editor to use for each post.
  • Each post opens in the last editor used regardless of who edited it last. This is important for maintaining a consistent experience when editing content.

In addition, the Classic Editor plugin includes several filters that let other plugins control the settings, and the editor choice per post and per post type.

Thanks for saving me from this disaster

WordPress 5 and Gutenberg or „Block Editor“ or whatever they’re calling it now was a looming disaster for me. Thousands of hours of work were about to be ruined. I’m hoping ClassicPress takes off as I’m looking to move away from WordPress eventually. This whole mess and the arrogance of the way it’s been handled has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks for saving me from Gutenberg

Thanks for this plugin. I have really given Gutenberg two opportunities and, with respect to its developers, it is really bad and stupid to create a post. Why do I need blocks in each image and in each paragraph when I can simply cut and copy to accommodate my content (something that is much faster and easier)?

Why dont simply add a main block with the classic editor and leave the option to add other blocks as a „plus“?. Really, we do not need or want to separate a post into many blocks.

As a text editor to create post … this editor (Classic) has everything we need, Gutenberg should be a WordPress „page builder“, not its editor / content creator.

Thank you for classic editor!

This plugin alone has saved ≈75 of our websites from breaking since we design our own custom themes and have developed some close sourced plugins not compatible with Gut. This plugin has bought us time to start making our own CMS based on React & Node for our clients. In a way, the 5.0 update has forced us away from legacy CMS’ and make us innovate faster, so there was a silver lining in this Gutenberg mess.
