This is a plugin for converting lots of posts or pages to a custom post type (or vice versa). In the ‘convert from…’ select option you will get the lists of all the post types stores in your current database and in the ‘convert to…’ option you will get the list of all the current registered post types. In addition to this you can also convert from one taxonomy to another and the lists are populated just as that of post types.

- Backup database first!
- Upload this plugin directory to
/wp-content/plugins/ - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to Tools → Post Type Convertr to convert your posts and taxonomies.

Plugin simply does its job. I wanted to convert all my posts into pages and that job was done just in one second.

I used this plugin to convert my drupal imported posts with custom taxonomoies and it worked perfect.
Converted 100 000 posts in less than 30 sec.
