Navigate to Plugins -> Add New. 2. Search for ‘Show IDs by Echo Plugins’ and install the plugin. 3. Activate the plugin in the Plugins menu. 4. Optional step: Go to Settings -> Show IDs to change where IDs will show. #### OPTION 2: Manually Upload Plugin Files 1. Download the plugin file from the plugin page: echo-show-ids.zip 2. Unzip the file echo-show-ids.zip 3. Upload the ‘show-ids’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins’ directory (do not rename the folder) 4. A MUST have for any serious WordPress website builder. There are so many plugins which require the ID of a post or page to use in a shortcode, for example. Try to explain to a novice client hovering over the page/post title to reveal the ID in the lower left of the browser 🙂 Simple. Effective. Cheers!
